Shipping & Logistics Policy

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

At TOUGH, we understand that reliable logistics is an essential part of purchasing heavy machinery internationally. We work with experienced logistics and shipping partners to arrange the transportation of excavators, attachments, spare parts, and related products to customers in different markets.

This Shipping & Logistics Policy explains our general shipping procedures and responsibilities.

1. Shipping Coverage

TOUGH provides international shipping solutions for customers in different countries and regions.

Depending on the destination, product size, order quantity, and customer requirements, available transportation methods may include:

  • Ocean freight

  • Container shipping

  • Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) shipping

  • Flat rack or other specialized shipping solutions

  • Air freight for selected spare parts and small components

  • International express delivery for eligible small items

  • Inland transportation and local delivery where available

The most suitable shipping method will be determined based on the product, destination, cost, availability, and agreed commercial terms.

2. Shipping Quote

Shipping costs vary depending on factors including:

  • Product model and dimensions

  • Product weight

  • Number of units

  • Destination country and port

  • Shipping method

  • Container or vessel availability

  • Fuel and freight market conditions

  • Port charges

  • Inland transportation requirements

  • Seasonal logistics conditions

Shipping charges will normally be confirmed separately in the quotation, proforma invoice, or sales agreement.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, product prices shown on our website do not necessarily include international shipping, customs duties, taxes, local delivery, or destination charges.

3. Processing and Production Time

Before shipment, excavators and related machinery may require production, assembly, inspection, testing, cleaning, and loading preparation.

The estimated production time will depend on:

  • Product model

  • Product configuration

  • Order quantity

  • Customization requirements

  • Production schedule

  • Availability of components

For standard products, the estimated production and shipping schedule will be communicated during the quotation and order confirmation process.

For OEM/ODM and customized orders, additional production time may be required.

4. Shipping Time

International shipping times vary according to the destination, transportation method, shipping route, vessel schedule, customs procedures, and local delivery conditions.

Any shipping time provided by TOUGH is an estimated timeframe rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Delays may occur due to circumstances including:

  • Port congestion

  • Vessel schedule changes

  • Customs inspections

  • Severe weather

  • Transportation disruptions

  • Government regulations

  • Strikes

  • Supply chain interruptions

  • Force majeure events

TOUGH will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant shipping delays to affected customers.

5. Packaging and Loading

Before shipment, products are prepared according to their type, size, transportation method, and destination requirements.

Depending on the product, shipping preparation may include:

  • Protective wrapping

  • Rust protection

  • Component securing

  • Attachment protection

  • Reinforced packaging where necessary

  • Container loading

  • Professional cargo securing

  • Loading and transportation documentation

Heavy machinery may be shipped using specialized loading and securing procedures appropriate for its dimensions and weight.

6. Shipping Terms and Transfer of Risk

The applicable shipping terms will be specified in the quotation, proforma invoice, sales agreement, or other order documentation.

Where applicable, internationally recognized Incoterms may be used to define the responsibilities of the buyer and seller, including transportation, insurance, customs clearance, and transfer of risk.

Customers should carefully review the agreed shipping terms before placing an order.

The responsibility for the goods and transportation risk will be determined according to the agreed shipping terms.

7. Customs Clearance and Import Duties
